What the guides cover
The site has four format guides, for the full-time, part-time, executive and online MBA. Alongside them are guides to the parts of an application, choosing a program, financing questions and what to think about before you apply, plus a glossary of common terms.
The guides are written for people early in their research: anyone who has heard of the MBA and wants to understand how programs work before talking to schools.
What OurMBA is not
OurMBA is not a business school and is not connected with any university. We are not an admissions consultant, a test prep company or a lender. We can't tell you whether you will be admitted, and we don't review applications.
Why we don't rank schools or publish figures
We don't name or rank schools. Rankings use formulas that may not match your goals, and a list of names would date quickly. We also don't publish salary figures, admission rates or tuition amounts. These numbers change every year and differ widely between programs and formats, so any single figure would be out of date or misleading for many readers. Each school publishes its own current figures, and the federal student aid site covers federal aid rules.
Money and legal questions
Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. When a topic touches on loans, taxes or benefits, we explain the general idea and point to the official source: the school's financial aid office, studentaid.gov, the IRS or VA.gov. For decisions about your own situation, talk to the financial aid office or a qualified professional.
Keeping the guides accurate
Admissions and financing rules change. We describe how programs generally work, use cautious wording where practice varies, and date rules that we know have changed, such as the federal graduate loan changes that took effect in 2026. If you spot something out of date or wrong, please tell us through the contact details on the privacy page.
How the site is funded
OurMBA has no advertising, sponsored content or partner links. No school or lender pays to appear here or to influence what we write.
